Words from Community Members

Community is what drives the mission of Cambridge-Ellis School. We are constantly working towards the ideals of inclusion, equity, and a true sense of belonging for all of our community members. Testimonials from a variety of community members provide a window into the community we are nurturing at CES.

As a multiracial, multicultural, middle-class family, we wanted our child’s first school experience to be in a loving, nurturing, and welcoming place, and in a community that valued all forms of diversity. We found in Cambridge-Ellis a second home, where our child was truly known and loved, and where we felt deeply connected.

CES values it's families, children, and developmental learning. As a teacher I feel that I have the respect, the professional understanding, the resources, and the support to do my job. It is also a safe space to explore new curriculum and methods of teaching to best serve the current population of children. I appreciate that I can tailor my teaching methods to the specific group that I have each year.

We feel sincerely grateful to have crossed paths with the educators and administrators at CES. This contact has taught us to be better parents and has given our child a strong foundation which we couldn't have done on our own. We are full of gratitude.
