I began my teaching career as a preschool teacher in a parent cooperative, right here in Cambridge. After 6 years in the classroom, I founded Muckykids Art Studio, a process-based art studio for young children. After many wonderful years at Muckykids, I decided to ‘retire’ from owning a business and get back to my preschool roots. I joined the CES community in 2024 and have been thrilled ever since. What a special place to be! In addition to nurturing a compassionate classroom community and shining a light on each child’s strengths, my favorite part of teaching is exploring nature, science, and art alongside them. It’s amazing what they see, do, and say! I live in Cambridge with my husband and our two children, Max and Grace (both in college). In my free time, I enjoy crafting, walking, taking long bike rides, and reading.
